Pilates
The focus on core strength aims to improve posture, increase strength and improve whole-body fitness. Pilates also encourages a good mind-body connection. Many of these aspects can also be used to strengthen your yoga practise, and I enjoy combining these two practises, if this is what you wish to improve. The meticulous movements and concentration on alignment and specific muscle connections is also well suited to rehabilitation of injuries. Where necessary, I work alongside physiotherapists, biokineticists and other health professionals to rehabilitate and strengthen specific areas.
